I just heard about Justin's injury. It struck me that my son, Dylan had just come off the same injury except his L5 was broken not stressed. It happened during while wrestling on his high school team this past year. I hope fans understand this is a very painful injury and I am not surprised that Justin continued to play because he is very serious about the game. I hope some fans don't think he is quitting because he wants to, it will not get any better without rest.

My son is an avid wrestler and drove us crazy for about three months because he couldn't do anything. He was placed in a back brace for most his days. He stuck it out for the three months and is now cleared and wrestling and weightlifting again.

By the way I am Yankees fan and have a great deal of respect for Justin and wouldn't have any hard feelings if he beat out Jeter or Tex for the MVP. the fact he played with this injury and didn't sit out should tell anyone all they need to know about Justin's character and desire to win.
